Ms. Mitchell has been studying Classical ballet since the age of 6. She trained with Friends University (on scholarship), Rogers Ballet Inc. (on scholarship), Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education, Footprints Dance Studio, Nancy Clarke School of Dance, and under such teachers as Sharon Rogers, Stan K. Rogers, Pia Russo, and Debbie Almohandis. In May 2017 Ms. Mitchell graduated Friends University with both a BFA in Ballet Performance, and a BA in Spanish.

 

Her performance experience includes original pieces by Stan K. Rogers, Felice Lesser, Dominic Walsh, Randall Flinn, and James Wallace; as well as classical full-length ballets including The Firebird, The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Nights Dream, The Wizard of Oz, and Cinderella.

 

She is currently in her second season with the U.S. International Ballet located in Wilmington, North Carolina.
